Scaphitidae

Scaphitidae is a family of extinct cephalopods belonging to the family of heteromorph ammonites (suborder Ancyloceratina). There is a possible fossil record of them being the last ammonites with a fossil dating to the Danian of the Paleocene in Turkmenistan.
