Sânpetru Formation

The Sânpetru Formation is a early Maastrichtian geologic formation. Dinosaur remains are among the fossils that have been recovered from the formation.[1] It is located in Romania, near Sânpetru village, part of Sântămăria-Orlea commune. It forms a component of the Hațeg Island fauna.

Description

The Sânpetru Formation crops out in the central to southern Hațeg Basin along the Bărbat River and comprises sandstones and mudstones deposited in a wet floodplain environment characterized by braided fluvial channels. The formation is correlated with the Densuș-Ciula Formation of the northern section of the same basin, both dating to the Maastrichtian of the Late Cretaceous.[2]

Notes
Uncertain or tentative taxa are in small text; crossed out taxa are discredited.
gollark: They wouldn't actually use them randomly, and it would be entirely impractical to use them on satellites or something.
gollark: There *are* laser microphone things, but you need to bounce them off windows or something, not just arbitrary surfaces.
gollark: * slightly tweaked spike proteins, but the Moderna/Pfizer-BioNTech ones use that too
gollark: Presumably it is, because Novavax's vaccine uses actual spike proteins + adjuvant.
gollark: I thought so, but it turns out that in some age groups it is actually seemingly a net negative to be vaccinated with some of the vaccines, and the non-adenovirus ones don't seem to have this problem so there's a fairly usable solution.
