Point Arkwright is a coastal suburb in the Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2016 census, Point Arkwright had a population of 273 people.[1]

Geography
Point Arkwright is the location of Luther Heights Youth Camp (26.5446°S 153.0975°E), used by the Lutheran Youth of Queensland for their Christian Life Week Camps. It is a 37-acre (15 ha) site with 338 beds.[3]
History
The suburb was named after the point of the same name (26.5467°S 153.1028°E), which in turn was named after Sir Richard Arkwright, who invented the machinery for cotton spinning factories.[2][4]
In the 2016 census, Point Arkwright had a population of 273 people.[1]

There are no schools in Point Arkwright. The nearest primary school is Coolum State School in Coolum Beach. The nearest secondary school is Coolum State High School also in Coolum Beach.[5]
