- Pelochelys cantorii Gray, 1864 – Cantor's giant softshell turtle[1]
- Pelochelys signifera Webb, 2002 – northern New Guinea giant softshell turtle[1]
Nota bene: A binomial authority in parentheses indicates that the species was originally described in a genus other than Pelochelys.
