Niesten (crater)

Niesten is an impact crater on Mars, located in the Iapygia quadrangle at 28.3°S latitude and 302.3°W longitude. It measures 115 kilometers in diameter and was named after Belgian astronomer Louis Niesten. The name was approved by the International Astronomical Union (IAU) Working Group for Planetary System Nomenclature in 1973.[1]
