Le Verrier (Martian crater)
Le Verrier is an impact crater in the Noachis quadrangle of Mars, located at 38.0°S latitude and 342.9°W longitude, and is inside Noachis Terra. It is 138 kilometers in diameter. It was named after French mathematician and astronomer Urbain Le Verrier. The name was approved in 1973 by the International Astronomical Union (IAU) Working Group for Planetary System Nomenclature (WGPSN).[1]
