Naomi Colford

Naomi Colford (born 30 May 2000) is a Canadian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss World Canada 2019. She represents Canada at Miss World 2019 in London.

Life

Colford was born and raised in Sydney, Nova Scotia. Growing up she was a competitive dancer, enjoyed participating in community theatre productions and various volunteer work. She is now in her second year of university studying nursing. She won the Miss World Canada title after competing with 55 contestants at the Toronto Centre for the Arts Lyric theatre.[1] She succeeded Hanna Begovic. She competed at the 2019 Miss World Festival in London, England. She placed 3rd in the Talent competition, and qualified as one of the top eight to represent the green team who went on to win the gold medal in the Fitness competition. Her "Beauty with a Purpose" message placed in the top 20 projects overall. [2]

gollark: Well, you can ask people to not put irrelevant random images in, but they'll probably do it for some stupid reason, and it's good if they can at least be mildly more efficient about it.
gollark: There's JPEG-XL or something, which will apparently allow *lossless* higher-efficiency representation of existing JPEGs. Very exciting.
gollark: Consider all those annoying mostly irrelevant images in articles. Those don't really need to actually be very high quality, and if you can lossily compress them to 20KB or so you can really shave off loading times.
