Miosynechodus
Miosynechodus is an extinct genus of shark from the Miocene of Sri Lanka. It is geologically the youngest hybodontid shark known.[1] The single species M. mora is known, which was named in 1969.[1]

Description
Miosynechodus is known from one specimen, a single dorsal spine which measures 41mm in overall length, a width of 10mm and a depth of 6mm. This dorsal spine is noted to have had five longitudinal groves in it's dorsal spine. This spine had been preserved in DPC.[1][2]
