Kazakh tribes
There are many Kazakh tribes, and they form part of three big clans (zhuz in kazakh language means hundred, every clan in ancient times had hundreds of warriors) the main: tribes of Kazakhs Elder (Senior) or Great Horde (Ulı Juz); Mid or Central Horde (Orta juz); and Junior (Young) or Lesser Horde (Kişi juz).
- Horde means tribes association for rule state.

These clans are known in the Kazakh language as ақсүйек aqsüyek, which literally means "white bone."
- Tore - Genghis khan generation
- Hodzha - originally Arabs "religion preachers"

- Tolengit - retinues of khan (king) and most of leaders
- Nogay-Kazakh - originally Nogays, included compound after formation of the Kazakh Khanate (state)
