History

KOXR was launched on June 11, 1955 by Oxnard Broadcasting Corporation.[1] For several decades the station aired a variety format, which always included at least a few hours of Spanish-language programming each week.

In the early 1990s, KOXR began broadcasting completely in Spanish.

gollark: On the plus side the PinePhone at least will let you swap the battery and probably screen, the Librem 5 has its cellular modem and WiFi card on separate, er, M.2 cards, and the PinePhone will apparently have some I2C pogo pins to allow, say, keyboard cases.
