International Conference on Very Large Data Bases
International Conference on Very Large Data Bases or VLDB conference is an annual conference held by the non-profit Very Large Data Base Endowment Inc. While named after very large databases, the conference covers the research and development results in the broader field of database management. The mission of VLDB Endowment is to "promote and exchange scholarly work in databases and related fields throughout the world."[1] The VLDB conference began in 1975 and is now closely associated with SIGMOD and SIGKDD.

gollark: PotatOS probably leans too far away from the Rust side of things, because half the potatOS PotatoAPI™ has no error checking at all.
gollark: Yes, I know, and it's not any particular errors, just that I have to muck with error types and `?` and `map_err` everywhere.
gollark: I don't really care about "perfect", I just want "basically works and is mostly correct".
gollark: Rust's is elegant and all, but I find it irritating to work with.
