Emma Strandberg Winkel (born 1996) is a Swedish model, actress and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss World Sweden 2016 and Miss Universe Sweden 2018. She represented Sweden in Miss World 2016 and also represented Sweden in Miss Universe 2018 pageant.[1][2]

Early life

Strandberg was born and raised in Hallstahammar.

Education

Strandberg attended Malardalens University, where she studied International Communication.

Pageantry

Miss World Sweden 2016

Strandberg joined Miss World Sweden 2016 pageant held on May 28, 2016 at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm, where she was crowned as the Miss World Sweden 2016 by her predecessor, Miss World Sweden 2015, Natalia Fogelund.

Miss World 2016

Strandberg later represented Sweden at the Miss World 2016 pageant held on 18 December 2016 at the MGM National Harbor, Washington, D.C., United States, but did not place among the top 20. The eventual winner was Stephanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico.

Miss Universe Sweden 2018

On 23 September 2018, Strandberg joined Miss Universe Sweden 2018 at the Cafe Opera in Stockholm, where she was crowned as Miss Universe Sweden 2018. She succeeded the outgoing Miss Universe Sweden 2017 Frida Fornander.[3]

Miss Universe 2018

Strandberg will represent Sweden at the Miss Universe 2018 pageant in Bangkok, Thailand where she was unplaced.
