City To City Tour

The City to City Tour was a concert tour by the American glam metal band Ratt in support of their latest album Reach For The Sky. The tour marked the beginning of Ratt's mainstream popularity downfall with slower album sales and lower attendance numbers as the glam metal scene was starting to lose the same mainstream popularity due to the rise of Guns N' Roses and soon to be grunge music. The tour was the last full tour with original guitarist Robbin Crosby who unknown to the band was battling a heroin addiction and alcoholism. Many dates were cancelled due to poor ticket sales or moved to smaller venues. The tour started on December 31, 1988 at the Tokyo Dome as a special guest for Bon Jovi, a band who opened for Ratt just 3 years earlier who were embarking on their hugely successful New Jersey Syndicate Tour. Kix, Britny Fox and Great White were the opening acts throughout the tour.

gollark: Or, well, Android+Google Play Services.
gollark: I'm using Android, just not Google-Android.
gollark: Though many OS-y features have been moved into Google Play Services, which I don't have, I can do basically everything I want without Google stuff.
gollark: I use LineageOS which is based on the AOSP or something, so it is *not*.
gollark: Well, yes, I'm aware of that, but if I don't have Google services installed there's no way for them to get that data.
