Bridgerton (TV series)
Bridgerton is an upcoming American period drama web television series created by Chris Van Dusen and produced by Shonda Rhimes. The series based on Julia Quinn's best-selling novels, that follows the competitive world of Regency London high society. Julie Andrews will voice the pivotal character of Lady Whistledown. The series is set to premiere in 2020 on Netflix.[1]

On July 20, 2018 Netflix announced that Shonda Rhimes will produce Bridgerton series based on Julia Quinn's best-selling novels, while Chris Van Dusen will be showrunner.[2] On June 19, 2019, Julie Andrews was cast as Lady Whistledown, the narrator of the series.[3] On July 10, 2019, it was announced that Phoebe Dynevor and Regé-Jean Page will play leads, while Jonathan Bailey, Golda Rosheuvel, Luke Newton, Claudia Jessie, Nicola Coughlan, Ruby Barker, Sabrina Bartlett, Ruth Gemmell, Adjoa Andoh and Polly Walker was cast in as regulars.[4] Bridgerton has been filming in London and Bath, Somerset.[1]
