Teams
- Nacional and Farense were promoted on 5 May 2020 to 2020-21 Primeira Liga by LPFP due to the suspension of the 2019–20 LigaPro due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Portugal. This decision was made based on UEFA's recommendations, focusing on sporting merit. These two teams were first and second place of 2019–20 LigaPro in Matchday 24 with 50 and 48 points, respectively.[1]
