The 1989 Supercopa Libertadores Finals was a football series between Independiente and Boca Juniors on November 22 and November 29 of this same year. In the first leg, played in Estadio Camilo Cichero the match ended 0–0. In the second leg, played in La Doble Visera, the match also ended 0–0, which meant the title was decided by a penalty shoot-out, which Boca Juniors won 5–3 to claim their first Supercopa Libertadores title.
