Forgrimm
Ardo's old anf faithful retainer. He's so depressed over his master's demise that he cut his own beard and got drunk. Joins the party in order to avenge Ardo.

The daughter of Cano and one of the greatest thieves in Ferdok. A cheerful and active girl with many useful skills.

A Novadi mercenary hanging around in the dock quarters of Ferdok. He can be hired by the party for 200 golds. He's a skilled marksman and poisoner.

Auralia
An old alchemist living in Ferdok, who's looking for a peculiar and rare recept. If you help her she will lend her services to you.

- Crippling Overspecialization: She's excellent at alchemy, but you won't have many uses for her afterwards.

- I Was Quite a Looker: She was much more prettier in the prequel.

Finn of Ferdok
A petty and arrogant noble often seen with Kastan Gamblack. He's later revealed to be a elite member of the Dragon Cultists, but he's still a small fish.

Kastan Gamblack
A rogue nobleman who's plotting with the Dragon Cultists. He's met in Ferdok and later in the dungeons of the castle of the Bloody Mountains where he's defeated.

- Flunky Boss: Is followed by a large number of cultists.
- Ironic Echo: He blames Finn for the failure of their plans and tells him that he's only a small fish. Later Noldrokon treats him in the same way.

Valonion
A mysterious Dragonman sorcerer met in Moorbridge. You must kill him to obtain the first piece of the Flame Armor.

- Giant Space Flea From Nowhere: Sort of: He's right here from the beginning as a statue, and it comes back to life when Rakorium tries to take the gemstone on his staff.

Da Vanya
The strict and self-righteous Great Inquisitor of Praios, bent on exterminating the witches of the Bloody Mountains. He's asctually revealed to be just another Dragonman just like Valonion.

Noldrokon
A mysterious hooded stranger with a scaly face, is encountered several times in the game and appears to be behind the Dragon cultists. Disguised as the orcish leader Bloodfang, he's revealed to be Malgorra's henchman but is left to die against the party in Grimtooth castle.

Yandrick of Andergast
The war mage serving House Neisbeck. He's actually the one who murdered Ardo, and is fought twice by the main party, eventually slain in the Neisbeck highquarters.

- Bonus Boss: Since the whole "avenging Ardo's" sidequest is facultative.
- Complete Monster: He gleefully describes to you how he joyfully slaughtered Ardo and ripped his heart out. Probably one of the sickest, most sadistic characters in the setting.
- The Dragon: To Ulwine.
- One-Winged Angel: After his death he turns into a Fire Spirit.
- Playing with Fire/Pyromaniac: Likes using fire spells.
- Royal Rapier: His main weapon when he's hexing people from far away.
- Why Won't You Die?: He's fought on the docks and apparently dies when he fall in the river. But reappears alive in the Neisbeck quarters. And then he goes One-Winged Angel.
- You Killed My Friend!: He's the one who killed Ardo.
Ulwine Neisbeck
An old matron and one of the most powerful merchants of Ferdok, is a ruthless woman, who daily employs ruffians and corrput guards to do her will. She's the one behind Ardo's demise, and during the last confrontation with the party she's hit by a lightning and falls on the floor dead.

- Disney Villain Death: After being struck by a lightning she falls down on the floor.

- I Was Quite a Looker: Appears in the prequel, and boy she's quite a babe!
- Tempting Fate: She openly challenge the Gods and claims that noone can stop her now. Cue to Bolt of Divine Retribution.
- Villainous Breakdown: After Yandrick's true demise.
Jafgur
A young Purple Dragon who was raised by the Dragon Cultist under the castle in the Bloody Mountains. He has gone crazy and attacked the city of Tallon, burning and destroying until he was finally put down by Arom and the main party. He was possessed by a demon locked in his carbuncle.

- Breath Weapon: Well, duh...
- Demonic Possession: There's a demon inside his carbuncle, driving him mad. Said demon later possess Arambolosh.
- The Dragon: To Malgorra and the Dragon Cultists, though he's also an Unwitting Pawn.
- Early-Bird Cameo: Appears for the first time in the Bloody Mountains where he escapes from the castle he was kept.
- Giant Flyer: He's very big and if you watch carefully you can see that his wings are far bigger than his arms.
- Made of Iron: He fights you with a giant dwarvish ballista's bolt in his chest and yet has a ton of health points.
- Our Dragons Are Different: This one is purple and too crazy to be reasoned with.
- Tragic Monster: He's very young and is too crazed and scared to understand what's actually going on.
Malgorra of Incendio
A mysterious noblewoman-sorceress allied with the Dragon Cult who seeks for the ultimate power to use. Has a cameo in the prequel as a noblewoman attending a party.

- Absolute Cleavage: It doesn't get more absolute than that...
- Big Bad: Of the first game.
- Evil Is Sexy
- From Nobody to Nightmare: In the prequel she appeared as a scheming but ordinary noblewoman. In this game she's a greater threat.
- Giant Space Flea From Nowhere: She appears about halfway througth the game without much explanation or foreshadowing.
- One-Winged Angel: Turns into a giant Hydra with breasts.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Gives one to your party as she steals Umbracor's Adamantine Heart from under your nose.
- Stripperiffic: Her purple dress, almost falling in Fashion Victim Villain. You even get the chance of judging her outfit in the prequel.

Salina
The beautiful Queen of Tumblers, is a wandering artist met in Avestrue and your first quest giver. She helps you on your way to Ferdok. Later she's accused of sabotage and poisoning in Murolosh and you have to gather evidence to save her.

Archmage Rakorium
An odd and crazy-looking sorcerer who's not quite right in the head, but is extremely powerful. He's met in Avestrue and later you have to rescue him in the Moorbridge Swamps. He later resides in your home and gives you cryptic but precious advice. He makes a cameo in the prequel as a sidequest giver.

- Barrier Warrior: Can create powerful barriers against the unliving.
- Chekhov's Gunman: First you need his help in order to get a permission to reach Ferdok. Then you have to rescue him from the dangers of Moorbridge Swamps, then again he tells you where to go after you obtain the Shield of Fire. Last but not least, he gives you the Thesis Crystal needed to awaken Umbracor from the Adamantine Heart.

- Escort Mission: Except that he can annihilate anything in a minute.

Sir Prancelot of Scufflewick
A pompous wannabe knight who has a huge inflated opinion of himself and tells a lot of stories, despite being a total wimp. You meet him in Avestrue and later in Tallon, where you have to kill a Linnworm. Appears in the prequel too.

- Curb Stomp Battle: The Linnworm defeats him by "breathing" on him.
- Dirty Coward: Runs away from a small party of Goblins. Later claims that he was taking their attention away from you.

- Nice Hat: The only positive thing about him is his cool winged helmet.

Duke Growin
The wise ruler of Ferdok, is a kind dwarf lord and a good friend of Ardo.

Thalya of Ravendoza
A beautiful rogue who's cursed with bad luck. You have to help her to deal with the curse by giving to the ghost of her fallen comrade Alrico 27 ducats.

- Absolute Cleavage: To the point that it almost takes you attention away from her amulet.
- Curse: She's cursed with bad luck, all the money she steals goes missing and has a deadly cough.
- Fate Worse Than Death: What she's trying to avoid.
- Gratuitous Spanish: For some reason part of her dialogue with her former partner's ghost in the Italian dub is filled with this. She also has a distinct Spanish accent.

The Witches
The inhabitants of the Dark Forest in the Bloody Mountains, they're currently under the treath of the Inquisition. You can either help them of kill them. The four witches are Yasmin, Alwine, Morla and Saphira.

- Absolute Cleavage: Alwine and Morla.
- The Alcoholic: Yasmin was planning to put an hex on the holy wine of the Inquisitors, but eventually decided to drink it instead.
- Animal Motifs: Swines for Yasmin, Wolves for Alwine and Toads for Morla.
- Blonde, Brunette, Redhead: Yasmin, Morla and Alwine. Saphira has grey hair.
- Clingy Jealous Girl: Alwine wants to turn her lustful and cheating boyfriend in a toad.
- Emo Teen: Morla looks like one with the Blinding Bangs.
- Flunky Boss: All of them fight alongside animals.
- Frogs and Toads: Morla's pet, Knowall.
- Hot Witch: Alwine has this written all over her. Then, if you like "pudgy" girls there's Morla.

Prince Arom
The badass dwarven prince of Murolosh, appears in Tallon valley on the tracks of the Dragon Jafgur. He helps the party on their quest after the dragon's death. Also appears in a bonus quest in the prequel, where he must destroy the access to a cursed mine.

King Arombolosh
Mighty king of Murolosh, he appears to be a little harsh and hostile to the party. He's later revealed to have been possessed by the Dragon's Carbuncle in his crown but is saved.

Umbracor
A legendary Dragon mentioned many times ingame, whose Oracle is kept in the Temple of Hesinde. The Oracle will nominate you Crusader of the Dragon Quest and order you to find the Adamantine Heart. Is revealed that the Oracle is actually Pal Na'Thar, the last Cyclops and that Umbracor is sealed inside the Adamantine Heart. Your goal is to free him.

- Big Good: The closest thing to one.

- Sealed Good in a Can: He's still alive and asleep inside the Adamantine Heart. Your last goal is to free him.
Pal Na'Thar
A mysteryous character mentioned in the underground ruins, he's the last Cyclop and the voice behind the Oracle of Umbracor. He has been the guardian of the Heart for a very long time, and now he want to pass the task to you.

- Heroic Blue Screen of Death: When Malgorra steals the Heart from under his nose.
- Last of His Kind: The last cyclop according to him.
- Our Giants Are Bigger: Not exactly huge, but still big.
- Ultimate Blacksmith: He forged the Fire Armor and can give you the Infinity+1 Sword.
- Well-Intentioned Extremist: His plan is simple: the man/woman who will survive to his trials and recover the whole Fire Armor will become the new keeper of the Heart. That means, spends eternity guarding a Cosmic Keystone in a ghost-infested lava cave.
Main Party # The River Of Time
Fayris Lynx-Eye
One of the two agents working for Gerlin. Is a half-elf Huntress, armed with bow and arrow. She can cast elven spells and is quite skilled in marksmanship and ranged combat. If you choose to help Jaakon in the storehouses, she's killed by Coldstone.
- Action Girl: If your character is male, she's also the only one.
- The Archer: Her weapon of choice and strong suit.
- Big No: When Jaakon is zapped to death by Coldstone.

Jaakon Zagor
One of Gerlin's agents in Nadoret, is a War Mage. Can use many powerful attack spells in battle and still put up a decent melee fight. If you choose to save Fayris first in the storehouse, he'll be killed by Coldstone.

A proud dwarf warrior, and Ardo's bodyguard and loyal retainer, is a Dwarf Warrior. Strong and resiliant, he's a powerful fighter, but it's not very brilliant.

- The Lancer: To Ardo, but is also The Big Guy in the whole party.

- Red Oni, Blue Oni: Red Oni to Cano's Blue Oni.

Cano
One of the best rogues of Havena, the whole story started when him and his rival Mora were hired to stole Raul's Crown, a precious treasure. He was caught by Ardo and Forgrimm and now he must help them in finding Mora and recover what was stolen. He's a Rogue, and can use his skills of Lockpicking, Trap Disarming and Theft to help the party.

Ardo
The charismatic Paladin from Boarstock, whose duty is to guards the Imperial Insignia. He travels along with Cano and Forgrimm in order to retrieve Raul's Crown, whose loss is very dangerous for the emperor himself and can bring a wave of chaos and disasters. He's a human Fighter and use a sword.

Main Antagonists # The River Of Time
Captain Orbert
The captain and master of Nadoret's docks, he's a suspicious, bad-tempered guy. Of course, he's involved in the plot regarding the pirates and Dajin and Coldstone. He's met at the very beginning of the game, when you get to Nadoret for the first time. You later face him in front of the secret passage to Dajin's castle.

- Jerkass: He's a real, plain asshole.

Stitus Bloomfold
The fat, corrupted commander of the Thurstein Toll Station on the Great River. Is a disgusting smug midget who loves animals above anything else and is involved in the pirate raids. After the party defeat his favourite pet, a Newt Kraken, he's knocked down and devoured by said beast.

- Expy: He's based on James Bond villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld in name, and he looks like Dom De Luise

- Hoist by His Own Petard: In his agony, the Newt Kraken make him fall in his open maws and eats him alive.

Girtash Goldtooth
Member of the Pirate Council of Hammerberg, is a smug, greed dwarf and one of the criminal bosses of the village, he also owns a mine. Later is revealed that said mine lead to the legendary Norgamashzrom, a cursed mine filled with Hell Iron. Eventually he's driven insane by the Iron and you must kill him near the entrance of the cursed pit.

Captain Soorman "Irontaster"
One of the strongest pirates of Hammerberg, is a dangerous criminal and a veteran in crime. Because of a bad experience with the fairy folk in the past he now totally hates elves and half-elves. His goal is to get rid of the current chief Eiliff and take her place as the new pirate leader. He's however defeated and killed by Eiliff and the party.

Jasmine of the Creeck
A sorceress clad in white robes first seen with the pirates, she's actually Coldstone's pupil. She's briefly fought in the pirate cavern and later in Dajin's castle. After her defeat she's told by her master to teleport away, and she does so.

A powerful, evil sorcerer hired by a mysterious faction later revealed to be Answin Ravenmount, a noble who's vying to the imperial throne who's involved in all the bad things happening around Nadoret and the Great River. He's first met in Nadoret where he incapacitate Gerlin and kill Fayris/Jaakon. He's met for the last time in Nadoret's castle.

- Golem: Seems to be his specialty: when first met he create the first boss (the Scrap Golem) and During the final battle he uses the same trick to animate Answin's statue.

Brother Emmeran
An old, dwarven Geod (sort of druid) who lives in the forgotten island and visits Nadoret from time to time. He's the first person met by the player in the city, and he "sees" something really special in him/her. He helps the party later, expecially when they bring to him a stone slab that allows you to enter the Temple of Efferd. Inside the temple lies the fearsome Crab Beast, who's possessed by Emmeran's brother's ghost and must be fred.
