Christian/YMMV
- And The IWC Rejoiced:
- Christian's return on ECW in early 2009 was a pleasant surprise.
- Almost as good in execution as in theory. Jack Swagger was in the middle of a promo when the initial drumbeat to Christian's entrance music hit and Christian (on the Titantron) yanked off his hood, sporting an epic grin.
- Edge using Christian's "Unprettier"/"Killswitch" finisher at the 2011 Royal Rumble when the Spear was banned. An excellent Continuity Nod, too.
- Then Christian returned the favor in the match where he won the WHC by hitting Alberto Del Rio with a Spear.
- The E&C reunion at the Slammys, where Edge said he needed someone to help present. Dare he even say - a partner? *cue "Christian!" chants* Cue Christian actually coming out to help present, and E&C cracking everyone up by imitating Michael Cole and the GM laptop.
- Wrestlemania XVII, when Christian comes out to help Edge finish off del Rio.
- Finally winning a World Title at Extreme Rules in an awesome ladder match.
- Christian's return on ECW in early 2009 was a pleasant surprise.
- Crowning Moment of Awesome: Many during his career, but the most recent would be at the Extreme Rules PPV, where he defeated Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship, which Edge vacated several weeks before due to his retirement. This is Christian's first World title in WWE, and it doubles as a Crowning Moment of Heartwarming with Edge helping him get the win then celebrating with him.
- And got in a pretty good Spear, to boot.
- Crowning Music of Awesome / Ear Worm: Just Close Your Eyes by Waterproof Blonde. The cover by Story Of The Year as well.
- Don't forget, "CHRISTIAAAAAN! CHRISTIAAAAAN! AT LAST YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN!"'
- Ensemble Darkhorse: Towards the end of his initial WWE run, Christian's gimmick got so over with the crowd that he was getting cheers over actual faces. Rather than turn him face, the WWE moved him to Smack Down so they could edit the chants for Christian out of his matches.
- One fan-created WMG theory to why Christian hasn't been given a world title since his return to the WWE is because Christian managed to get cheered over the guy they were grooming to be the next big thing: John Cena.
- Getting cheered over Cena is also attributed to why Chris Jericho was turned heel and thrown into Christian's title match with Cena at Vengeance 2005 and Christian never got another shot again. Which in turn is attributed to WWE failing to keep Christian at the negotiating table, leading to him being seen in TNA very shortly after his WWE contract ran out in the first place.
- Jericho turning heel was his own idea, per his book.

- Fridge Brilliance: Edge & Christian were first introduced to the WWE as brothers. From a certain point of view, they are.
- Internet Backdraft: When Christian lost the WHC to Randy Orton two days after getting it, the IWC fucking EXPLODED. Even people who like Orton more than Christian are calling bullshit on it, considering it was Christian's first ever title victory.
- Memetic Mutation: The reaction of announcer Todd Grisham at Christian's return to WWE in 2009:
- "Tomko, gimme a beat." "No."
- While one of the best in the biz, Christian sadly is also responsible for this botch.
- "Stay off the internet, buddy."
- Moral Event Horizon: Having someone fake a phone call to Edge (Back when they were still on-screen brothers) to say that their parents had been in a car accident, just to lead him into a sneak attack by several members of the Alliance.
- His Curb Stomp Battle with Trish Stratus, especially since before the match, he had told Trish that he was going to lay down for her so she wouldn't be put in harm's way.
- Magnificent Bastard: After committing this particular MEH against Trish, he was able to convince Trish into a Face Heel Turn to join his side and humiliate Chris Jericho at WrestleMania XX. To this day he will still bring up that victory to Jericho whenever the two meet, but Trish's romantic history with either man has only been vaguely referenced once or twice since the end of that storyline - giving off the impression that Trish and Christian had been playing a huge rib on Jericho the entire time just so Christian could have that victory.
- His Curb Stomp Battle with Trish Stratus, especially since before the match, he had told Trish that he was going to lay down for her so she wouldn't be put in harm's way.
- Straw Man Has a Point: Following his most recent Face Heel Turn, he's returned somewhat to the tantrum-throwing brat persona of his younger years - although in some cases his rages and rants are pretty much justified. He was right, for instance, in pointing out that, as Chief Operating Officer, Triple H shouldn't let Randy Orton get away with causing so much mayhem, because after all Triple H himself was once on the receiving end of that mayhem when Orton put both Vince and Shane McMahon (Triple H's in-laws) in the hospital and nearly raped Stephanie McMahon (his wife). Ultimately defied, as Triple H simply didn't care about all that anymore.
- Tear Jerker: The moment the loss of the World Heavyweight Championship sunk in for Christian.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Never mind the fact that his WHC title run was insultingly short. A feud between Christian and Randy Orton for the title would have actually been pretty cool, especially considering that they're the top 2 guys on Smackdown and, because of the Draft, its Main Event scene hasn't been established yet. But since WWE have made it clear multiple times that they don't see Christian as a Main Event player, it's never gonna happen. However, this ultimately ended up being subverted as they actually went through with Christian vs Orton, where they went to have some of the best matches of 2011. Still, many feel Christian should have been the champ for these instead of Orton.
- And of course, prior to Christian making his WWE return, Jeff Hardy was regularly being attacked by a mystery assailant: guess who it was going to be until somebody higher up decided that since it was so "obvious" it shouldn't happen?
- Actually, that was down to the fanbase immediately figuring out that it was meant to be Christian behind the attacks. The WWE gave the angle to Matt Hardy instead, so that they could pull a Shocking Swerve on the fans.
- Because as we all know, trying to "swerve" the savvier portion of your fanbase has always worked so well.

- The Woobie: "Oh, hi Grandma Edna! Did you see, I--<Deflated> Yeah. He's here."
- Also counts as The Unfavorite - almost Hilarious in Hindsight when one considers the treatment each has been given by the company since.
