Zelos
"The world is far more complicated than you obviously realize, and there is no black or white, only shades of grey."
"Oh really? And who created the boundary that separates the creatures that can be killed from those that can't? Humans are ignorant, self-serving creatures. They make the world conform to them, consequences be damned. If you want to try to rationalize with the contradictions of humanity, by all means, be my guest. But me, I have my own rules that I live by. And I would rather die than ever betray what I think is right. You're in no position to tell me what's wrong or what's right."—When Adelle derides him for being a ruthless killer
A mercenary known to never fail his job, Zelos has a list of enemies and is extremely detached when it comes to people. He has no issues killing people if the money payout is good enough. Both of his arms are mechanical prosthetics that give him an edge on the battlefield, especially if an Elemental Core is contained within them. His weapon of choice are guns and, in some cases, swords.
- Anti-Hero: His view towards life makes that almost an Understatement. His moral code doesn't help; he'll only help people if he's either paid for that or taunted into doing so, he has no qualms about killing people, and he won't trust anyone if he's not given a good reason to. He grows better from this, however.
- Artificial Human: Zelos has it worse than Aria and Duja on that matter. To sum it up, he's Prototype ZERO, clone of an Alien Soul and Dena, a Human Genome.
- Artificial Limbs: Both of his arms are prosthetical, and he has no idea of how he got those in the first place.
- Assassin Outclassin':
- It's said that many people tried to get their hands on his prosthetical arms and none lived to tell the story.
- Adelle tries her hand at killing Zelos late in the game to avenge her parents. Unfortunately for her, Zelos can't die even if he wants to, as he shows to her.
- At Least I Admit It: Zelos has no fear of admitting he is a ruthless killer. That comes back to bite him in the ass as the daughter of one of his hit contracts infiltrated his team to try and get back at him.
- Bad Guys Do the Dirty Work: That's Zelos' rationale for not letting Lisa kill Sauber and doing it himself: he says such an act would corrupt her.
- Because I'm Good At It: Because of conditioning himself to not giving much value for human life, Zelos does his job like it's the only thing he has ever done in his life or will ever do.
- Beware the Honest Ones: If Zelos tells you he'll kill you next time you try to do some bad shit, you better believe him. He's one to make good on those words.
- BFG: His main weapon is a gun as big as his arms.
- Blood Knight: He will definitely NOT run away from a challenge, and has a soft spot for others of this type, which includes Lydia.
- Bounty Hunter: One with a reputation. He will take any job, from killing monsters to people, and do it flawlessly.
- Bring It: His normal behavior towards anything he's pointing his gun at.
- Brutal Honesty: Zelos has nothing to hide about his views of the world. This makes for a huge Berserk Button for Adelle.
- But for Me It Was Tuesday: Zelos has a huge killcount, to the point he doesn't make a point to remember names. It's Played for Drama when Adelle reveals to be the daughter of a couple that actually got killed by him.
Zelos: Who knows? I've killed so many people that not one person stands out.
- Bystander Syndrome: Zelos will rarely, if ever, move a finger to help people, unless he's the target, or he's provoked to do so.
- Character Development: Goes from an unrepentant Bounty Hunter at the start of the game, to a completely dependable person at the end, learning his own impact upon others' lives.
- Cloning Blues: Dena made numerous clones of him and deploys them to fight him on their confrontation.
- Code of Honor: One to which Zelos sticks so strictly that, as he tells Adelle, he would rather die than violating it. He kills only if he needs to, trusts no one unless they prove to be worthy of it, and does his best to rely on no one.
- Cold Sniper: Zelos is usually contracted as a hitman with high efficiency and zero consideration for the lives he ends. One of these contracts were Adelle's parents, which he killed from a distance in an open marketplace.
- Color-Coded for Your Convenience: His color scheme changes in accord to the Elemental Core he's using.
- Critical Status Buff: Zelos has various among the Cores, but his unique flavor is definitely Unleash Hell from the Infini Core, which doubles his attack power and defense and can stack with Overdrive.
- Curb Stomp Battle: Zelos is constantly on the giving end of these, and Adelle is not safe from this either, as Zelos basically does nothing and just keeps no-selling her attacks.
- Cynicism Catalyst: Whatever happened under his last caretaker, it scarred Zelos mentally and ingrained into him his current Humans Are the Real Monsters behavior.
- Desperately Looking for a Purpose In Life: What Isaac believes to be Zelos' motivation: to find a reason to exist. Predictably, Zelos mocks the idea. The way Zelos staves off this question bites him back after he tells Adelle he only lives because that's what he thinks he's supposed to. Upon meeting Isaac, Zelos asks him, aware that he's an Angel and an observer of people's lives, if he has some grudge. Isaac however says he harbors no ill will on Zelos.
Zelos: I think, therefore I am... To be or not to be, is that really the question...? Oh God, this is just stupid.
- Do Not Taunt Cthulhu: It's a rare protagonist example: Zelos is so powerful that he could count himself as a Cthulhu of sorts, being a Super Prototype to Zelovide. He will not take well to whoever pisses him off. Brumeia realized that the instant Zelos ditched a contract and decided to help Nguyen kill her for free after seeing how rotten she is.
- Don't You Dare Pity Me!: Zelos gives a disgusted reaction to Bridgette after noticing she feels sorry for his prosthetic arms and warns her against feeling pity for people.
- Easily Forgiven: Subverted. Adelle doesn't fully let go of her hatred for Zelos after all is said and done, but she mellows out a bit for him and ends up becoming his rival.
- Easy Amnesia: He's missing quite a bit of his memory, but doesn't give a single damn for this. Until he actually finds out where he came from, then he decidedly cares.
- Elemental Powers: The main schtick to Zelos' Elemental Core mechanic is that his powers and abilities depend on which Elemental Core is embedded on his arms:
- Playing with Fire: Ignis Core
- Shock and Awe: Astral Core
- Making a Splash/An Ice Person: Aqueous Core
- Dishing Out Dirt: Peirous Core
- Blow You Away: Anemos Core
- Light'Em Up: Helios Core
- Casting a Shadow: Vesper Core
- Pure Energy/Power of the Void: Infini Core
- Everyone Has Standards: Zelos may be amoral, but he has his limits. He won't kill anyone who isn't a target for a contract, but will kill bandits on the spot if given a chance. He also doesn't take well to wanton killing, much less to monsters like Brumeia or Sauber. Also, he'll make sure to check the bio on his target before he goes for the kill, especially after discovering one of his fulfilled contracts actually were a couple of merchants that had a daughter.
- Gun Fu: Whatever you saw in Cross Edge, it started on Blazing Souls.
- The Gunslinger: He loves waving his massive hand cannon around.
- Heterosexual Life Partners: Nguyen finds a way into becoming this with him. Crosses into Vitriolic Best Buds.
- Hidden Heart of Gold: While Zelos refuses to admit it, he's still a good person deep inside. Such proof is the fact that he actually apologized to Adelle for killing her parents after her revenge attempt.
- Humans Are the Real Monsters: Zelos has no faith in Mankind, claiming having seen the worst of them.
- I Did What I Had to Do: Zelos sees his usual violence like this, as he believes the world has a "dog-eat-dog" methodology. He explains as much to Lydia.
Zelos: Death and killing was all I knew at the time. I didn't know there were other ways. I did everything I thought I had to in order to survive. Everything... Ironic, isn't it? This, coming from someone who claims to not value life.
- I Gave My Word: Zelos sticks to his word and makes good on it. He said he would kill Gavas if he met him again. Well, can't say the bandit didn't get warned.
- Ignore the Fanservice: It tells that he pays no attention to someone as provocative as Fairuza.
- I Let You Win: Zelos pulls this on Lydia when she comes in Adelle's defense after her failed revenge attempt. Lydia takes notice of this and is understandably pissed after the fight.
- Incriminating Indifference: Zelos' apathy is very visible, and many people take him for a big Jerkass, but it's shown that he still has his standards. Adelle, however, sees his attitude and judges that he kills people because he can.
- Infinity+1 Sword: Back in Spectral Souls II, his Revolver Cannon wouldn't be much to write home about, being quite inferior in power to the Musoufugaku, the game's most powerful weapon. In Blazing Souls? It's a damn beast with over 2800 ATK that only he can use.
- In the End You Are on Your Own: The last battle of the game is him and Gustavinus, one on one, so that Zelos can use his Elemental Cores to overload him.
- I Shall Taunt You: He'll push Sexton's Berserk Button for the hell of it if given an opportunity.
- It Amused Me:
- Mainly subverted, as Zelos doesn't kill unless he has to. His attitude however transmits to people such an impression, being especially true of Adelle.
- Played straight, however, when it comes to taunting people, especially if the victim is Sexton.
Sexton: Excuse me...? Were you making a comment about my appearance?
Zelos: I don't see anyone else here that looks like they're on fire, devil.
- I Work Alone: Zelos is heavily insistent on being well on his own and dislikes almost every addition his party gets.
- Jack of All Stats: Lower cap on his LUK aside, Zelos' stat growth is completely even, he can use four out of five types of physical attack, and can play any role he needs to, as his stats depend actually on which Elemental Core he's equipped with. Coreless Zelos also can use General attacks with a gun, something Lisa can't do as guns never possess General slots.
- Jerkass: He's amoral and will do anything for money. Zelos even thinks this of himself and is sure that his team thinks the same.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: According to the other characters. Lydia proves them right.
- Jerkass Has a Point: In one occasion, Adelle forces Zelos to let a thief go after dealing with him, and he calls her out for letting a criminal live. Zelos is proven right later, when the same thief tries to ambush Zelos using Adelle as bait and he has to finish the guy to save her.
Zelos: Now do you understand? This is how the world really works.
- Lack of Empathy: Zelos' standard emotion set, said to be elevated to "a form of art". Demonstrated during Noel's Heroic BSOD:
Zelos: Yeah, they're dead. Get over it! It's not the end of the world! As you are now, you're less than useless to us! If this is how you're going to react to something like this, just get the hell away from me now!!
- The Leader: He's thrown into this role against his will, but ends up accepting it.
- Leave Me Alone: Zelos' constant message at anyone, as he has no trust or sympathy for people. He becomes better from this as the story progresses.
- Megaton Punch: His Heaven's Drive is basically a few shots from his BFG, followed by a punch overcharged with energy from an Elemental Core.
- Moral Myopia: Zelos sees no wrong with killing thugs or whatever appears on his contracts. He discovers the consequences of the latter when a daughter of a couple he killed comes at him for revenge, and she happens to have been on his team for quite a while now.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Zelos is hit with this once Adelle attempts to get revenge on him. Her parents were killed on one of his contracts, and Zelos didn't know back then that they were just simple merchants trying to get by. It's what motivates him to let Lydia defeat him when she comes in Adelle's defense.
- No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: One of the biggest Combination Attacks in the game, Harem Night, has Bridgette, Kaye, Fairuza and Sciorra cornering Zelos in an awkward situation and causing him to unload a violent barrage of attacks on his target to vent his rage off. 63 hits much?
- No Sell: Zelos makes a point of showing just how immortal he is by impaling himself with Adelle's BFS and not even feeling it. He even refuses medical help from Isaac afterwards.
- No Social Skills: Subverted; he does have those skills, but doesn't give a shit for people anyways, so he feels no need to make use of those.
- No Sympathy: It's a very rare sight to see Zelos giving a damn for someone.
- Not So Different: Snow thinks as such of Zelos, comparing him to Jadore. Zelos replies that he is nothing like that "spineless milquetoast".
Snow: Actually, it's you that I'm interested in. The reason that I have been following you is because you are very much like someone I've been searching for. Tactless, unfriendly, perpetually angry and totally unapproachable. But under his abrasive exterior, he's really a very sweet person who just doesn't know how to relate to people. Like I said, you are almost exactly like the one I'm looking for.
- One-Man Army: If he's not a Person of Mass Destruction, he's certainly this.
- Only in It For the Money: The only way to get Zelos to do something is to pay him for it. Nguyen saw as much and used this to get his help with Brumeia. Zelos, however, once Zelos saw the kind of person Brumeia is, Zelos ditched the payment part and offered his help to Nguyen for free.
- Pay Evil Unto Evil: Thugs, rapists, Brumeia, you name it. If you're evil enough, Zelos will blow a hole through your head with his Hand Cannon and won't even bat an eye at it.
- Power Makes Your Hair Grow: The Vesper and Helios Cores give off so much energy that it alters Zelos' body, making the hair grow to shoulder length and activating his Artificial Limbs.
- The Power of Apathy: Zelos has indeed elevated his apathy to a form of art. And with it, his capability to defeat just about anyone he crosses paths with.
- Professional Killer: With a big reputation. Like his apathy, he turned this into a form of art.
- Punch-Clock Hero: The only means to make him do anything close to a good action are to either paying him to do it, or provoking him into doing it. Sometimes both.
- Red Is Violent: Given all the listed tropes about his abilities as a killer and a Blood Knight, this should not come as a surprise.
- Rude Hero, Nice Sidekick: The Rude Hero to Nguyen's Nice Sidekick.
- Screw Destiny: When Carla explains to the party why the Human Genomes exist, Duja decries the idea of fate, while Zelos outright refuses the idea. It's what motivates him to go after Edward in the Randeroll Labs.
Zelos: Bullshit, all of it! I could give a rat's ass about gods, Human Genomes, or fate! I'm going to make them pay for screwing around with my world!
- She Is Not My Girlfriend: Our introduction to Sexton has Zelos denying he has anything with Fairuza.
- Ship Tease: With a Beastkin of all people: he flat out admits he thinks her hot in an optional conversation before the Randeroll Labs raid.
Zelos: They [her fur] look like a part of your outfit anyway. Actually, I think you're kind of hot.
- Signature Move: Heavens' Drive, a Megaton Punch which Zelos uses in 99% of his Combination Attacks.
- The Sociopath: Zelos comes off as this, acting like he has no conscience or guilt.
- Super Mode: On Infini Core, we have his Overdrive Original Skill. It overclocks Zelos' Elemental Core, giving him an absurd attack and defense power for three turns. If you combine it with his Unleash Hell Potential, and use a Bloody Pearl on top of it to further buff his attack, Zelos becomes near-unstoppable.
- Super Prototype: He's this to Zelovide, as explained by Dena near the end of the game. According to Dena, the main purpose of his existence is to be absorbed by Zelovide so it can become "completed".
- Sword and Gun: The sword sees little use depending on which Elemental Core he's using, being mainly used to break things in Action Mode.
- The Rival
- Jadore willingly makes Zelos this to him to test his strength.
- Adelle becomes this after evolving out of her vendetta against him.
- Toxic Friend Influence: Zelos manages to be this to Hermes, who starts imitating his mannerisms.
- Tron Lines: The Infini Core gives him lines not unlike those on the Human Genomes' all over his body.
- The Unapologetic: Zelos lives completely in the present with no regret or remorse. But he concedes one apology, to Adelle of all people, after the events involving her revenge attempt.
Zelos: It might be too late for it to mean anything, but could you tell her... That... That I'm sorry.
- Weirdness Magnet: Everyone, absolutely everyone, seems attracted to Zelos in some form. This includes other Bounty Hunters, adventurous kids, people from another world with absurd powers, angels, demons, and Artificial Humans bent on replacing all sentient lifeforms on Neverland.
- What the Hell, Hero?:
- On the giving end, when Adelle forces him to let a criminal go after they tried to "force a toll" on his party. Given what happens some time later, his words are almost prophetic:
Zelos: Someday, this is going to come back and bite you in the ass.
- On the receiving end, when he lets Lydia beat him all she wants after the humiliation he gave to Adelle.
- What You Are in the Dark: On the exterior, Zelos is an unlikable person who does his worst to distance himself from everyone and has no qualms about his actions. On the interior, he still has a conscience, feels guilty for quite a chunk of his kills, and is desperate to find a meaning for his life, if there is even any. Isaac catches up quickly to this.
- Worthy Opponent: Jadore comments to Snow seeing him as one.
Nyugen Le
"I have no idea what Human Genomes are or whether they are superior, and to be perfectly blunt, I don't give a damn. But life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness is the right of all living beings, be they humans or Genomes. And should anyone try to deprive humanity their right to happiness, I will stand up and fight them until my dying breath!"
A blonde adventurer that was assigned by the guild to work with Zelos on a hard mission. Like the other two given this task, Nguyen decided to say with Zelos after the mission was over. His dream is to rescue a cute Damsel in Distress and get into a relationship.
- And Then What?: When Nguyen confronts Snow about her origins, she replies with an Armor-Piercing Question, asking him what he'll do once he's done with Brumeia. He has no clear answers at the time.
- Eventually, Nguyen figures it out. After Brumeia dies, he decides to stick with Zelos for a little more to help him finish his job before assuming the Vergis throne.
- Back Stab: His first Original Skill, Ambush, where he tricks his enemy into turning its back on him so he can follow up with a flying jump dagger-first into their backs.
- Bare Your Midriff: Given Nguyen is a Casanova Wannabe, that is to be expected.
- Beware the Nice Ones: Nguyen is very cheerful and jolly, but make no mistake: if you decide to bring him misery, he will go for you. Brumeia destroyed his life and made a lifetime enemy out of him. Got killed by him and Zelos for her efforts.
- Casanova Wannabe: He even dreams of rescuing Distressed Damsels. But he actually never succeeded in wooing any girl over. One pretty demonstration of this is a scene where he gets turned out by Fairuza and Carla in the incredible span of five minutes.
Nguyen: *Sighs* Yet more epic failures...
- Determinator: This man plotted for years to be able to take Brumeia out, and saw in Zelos, a high-profile hitman, the opportunity of his dreams. He didn't count on actually becoming friends with the man, or with Zelos actually getting fed up with Brumeia.
- Dishing Out Dirt: His main element and the schtick to his Quake Strike.
- Fighter, Mage, Thief: Nguyen fills the Thief class here, with his Rare Steal being his main form of acquiring unique stuff from enemies, and Feat of Agility as a Potential that boosts his chance of success with such abilities.
- Ground Pound: His Quake Strike has him doing this to cause area damage around him.
- Heroic BSOD: Nguyen hits one after reaching Brumeia. She has Orson attacking him under her control, totally aware of what's happening and begging for Nguyen to defend himself. Not happy with leaving Nguyen in shock, Brumeia decides to try and force him into a Despair Event Horizon by throwing his father at him just for fun. Nguyen can't bring himself to kill his father, but Zelos can, and shoots the King before he gets to Nguyen. This snaps Nguyen out of the BSOD state, and into full Roaring Rampage of Revenge mode against Brumeia, with a fed-up Zelos now helping him for free.
- Heterosexual Life Partners: He manages to work himself into being this with Zelos. Crosses also into Vitriolic Best Buds.
- King Incognito: His actual name is Heidelberg, prince of Vergis Kingdom. He's on the run from one of the Genomes when she enthralled her father, King Archibald, into killing his entire family. Since then, he's been working on a way to depose Brumeia and reclaim his throne.
- Knife Nut: Combined with Combo-type attacks that allow him for long strings.
- The Lancer: This is his attitude on Zelos' team, even asking Zelos for permission to go out of his way. Doubles also as The Smart Guy.
- La Résistance: Nguyen leads one to free his own country from Brumeia, and hires Zelos to help him finish the job.
- Loveable Rogue: He's always optimistic and cheerful, while being the main thief of the game.
- Obfuscating Stupidity: Don't let this womanizer act fool you; Nguyen is far from being any slouch in the intel department, and he leads a resistance movement dedicated to take down a Human Genome.
- Not to mention he's the first one to correctly deduce Snow's identity.
- The Pollyanna: Yeah, Nguyen is one of the most optimistic guys you would ever see. Unless he's dealing with Brumeia, that is.
- Roaring Rampage of Revenge: He's keeping his King Incognito play to hide from Brumeia after having his kingdom taken over by her, and he spent years plotting for a way to take her out until Zelos appeared in his life. Zelos initially only was in it because Nguyen made it a contract, but after Brumeia sent a reformed thief to do her job and decided to push the boundaries of her cruelty on Nguyen right in front of him, he decided this one service would be a freebie. Nguyen succeeds on his revenge thanks to Zelos.
Nguyen: This isn't about my country or my rule. The fact is that your existence offends me. I will not stand by and let you ruin people's lives just for your own sick, perverted gratification!
- Royals Who Actually Do Something: He's been actively working to purge Vergis Kingdom of Brumeia's rule, and after he's done with this, he helps Zelos purge Neverland from hostile Human Genomes before going back to his rightful throne.
- Rude Hero, Nice Sidekick: The Nice Sidekick to Zelos' Rude Hero.
- Ruling Family Masscre: Heidelberg is a survivor of one. After marrying and enthralling his father, Brumeia ordered him to slay every single member of his family. Orson, the King's retainer, was savvy to this and quick enough to help Nguyen escape with his life, while staying behind to watch over the now-enslaved King Archibald. Since then, Nguyen is just waiting for the opportunity to take Brumeia down and reclaim his kingdom.
- Shock and Awe: His second elemental slot.
- Warrior Prince: Heir to Vergis Kingdom, and highly capable in combat.
- You Killed My Father: His entire family was killed by Brumeia, with his father and his loyal retainer being forced by her to be killed by Nuguyen and Zelos. After that, he's completely unleashed and pulls out all the stops on killing Brumeia, with Zelos fully willing to help.
Adelle
"What do you know? Losing everyone you love and ending up all alone... How could you possibly understand anything like that?"—After Zelos is finally compelled to say what he thinks of life
Full first name Adellade, she's a purple-haired mercenary that was assigned to help Zelos rescue Aria, and decided not to part ways afterwards. She has a complete opposition to Zelos, explained late in the game by her being in a quest for revenge against him. Her weapon of choice are BFS'es.
- Action Girl: One what will jump into action always when prompted to.
- Berserk Button: Zelos is a living one to her. Not so much for his apathy and lack of education, but mainly because he killed her parents.
- Berserker Tears: Her revenge attempt on Zelos turns into one of these before the fight even starts. Zelos, like usual, isn't half moved by this at first, and lets her attack him without hitting back because she will not even cause a scratch on him. She ends up a sobbing wreck as Zelos refuses to even apologize for his acts.
- BFS: Her flavor of weapon.
- Subverted with her personal weapon, Garnet's Princess Sword, which is a rather normal-sized blade.
- Broken Ace: Top of her class in the Varanoir Academy, but completely distant from most people. That's a sign that she never got over her parents' death, something confirmed when Lydia calls her out for bursting out of the Academy just to hunt Zelos down.
- The Chick: She's this among the main members of Zelos' team. She would be The Heart if both Aria didn't occupy that space, and she wasn't on the team uniquely to kill Zelos.
- Childhood Friends: With Lydia.
- Child Prodigy: Her dedication in order to prepare to kill Zelos has led her to become Valedictorian of her class in the Varanoir Academy.
- Chronic Hero Syndrome: She shows traits of this in the first half of the game. Zelos, however, does not buy that attitude for a second, Which is pretty much confirmed when she goes for Zelos' head.
- Curb Stomp Battle: She gets on the receiving end of one during her revenge attempt on Zelos. Worse than that, Zelos goes on to prove that she never stood a chance against him and impales her sword on his chest, even forcing her hand to dig it deeper. This is just how immortal the man is: even he doesn't know what could kill him.
- Deceased Parents Are the Best: It says a lot when she would rather avenge her parents rather than appreciate the fact Garnet adopted her.
- Duel Boss: She becomes one during her revenge attempt. Not that she's any challenge to begin with.
- The Farmer and the Viper: She is the farmer, hard time, when she forces Zelos to let a criminal go when he was at the bounty hunter's mercy. The same criminal comes back with a vengeance when he tricks Adelle into being his hostage so he could lure his target, Zelos, out. Zelos keeps his word from the first meeting and kills the man without hesitation, which in turn causes Adelle to be horrified of his attitude.
- Genius Bruiser: She has the intelligence to match her strength.
- Genre Blindness: Nearly everyone takes Zelos for a Jerk With a Heart of Gold, even taking his methods into consideration. Adelle? She's dead-set on avenge her parents, and for all intents and purposes consider Zelos as a killer who takes fun on his job, despite her parents being hit contracts he was paid to do, and Zelos himself taking no pride on it.
- Happily Adopted: By Garnet of Spectral Souls fame. It's where a good chunk of her skills and her personal weapon come from. Subverted in that even a caring person like Garnet can't divert Adelle from her thirst for revenge.
- Heroic BSOD: She enters an enormous one during her revenge attempt. Lydia takes action in response.
Duja
A white-haired mercenary given the same task as Le and Adelle. His weapon of choice is the 'break', which is akin to a tomahawk.
Aria
A young, blue-haired lady that was rescued by Zelos and the other mercenaries. Upon realizing that she lost her memories, she decided to travel with Zelos and his 'friends', hoping to remember her past along the way. Her weapon of choice is the staff.
Snow
A mysterious lady with white hair that needs Zelos' help. Her weapon of choice is the staff.
Sciorra
A pink-haired catgirl that hunts in order to survive. After encountering Zelos and his party, and hearing about their jobs as jacks-of-all-trades, she joins them. Her weapon of choice is the spear.
