With a land area of 0.92 km² (0.36 sq mi), it had a population density of 131.5/km² (340.6/sq mi) in 2016.[8]

In the 2011 Census of Population, the Village of Parkside recorded a population of 125, a -3.1% change from its 2006 population of 129. With a land area of 0.92 km² (0.36 sq mi), it had a population density of 135.9/km² (351.9/sq mi) in 2011.[9]
