Aurlus Mabélé
Aurlus Mabélé (26 October 1953 – 19 March 2020) was a Congolese singer and composer. He was commonly referred to as the "King of Soukous".[1]

Biography
Aurlus Mabélé was born in Brazzaville; his real name was Aurélien Miatsonama.[2] In 1974, he created the band "Les Ndimbola Lokole" with Jean Baron, Pedro Wapechkado and Mav Cacharel.[3]
During the COVID-19 pandemic in France, he contracted coronavirus disease 2019. On 19 March, he died from COVID-19 at a hospital in Paris.[4]
