Geography
The municipality covers an area of 14.91 square kilometres (5.76 sq mi), and has a population of 1,075 (as at 28 August 2006). Záhorovice lies approximately 24 kilometres (15 mi) east of Uherské Hradiště, 25 km (16 mi) south of Zlín, and 270 km (168 mi) south-east of Prague.
