XHWK-FM

XHWK-FM / XEWK-AM is a clear-channel AM station near Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. It is licensed for 50 kilowatts during the day and 10 kilowatts at night on 1190 kHz and has its transmitter at Atemajac del Valle, Zapopan, Jalisco.[2] It began in 1954 as a rebroadcaster of XEW-AM.[3]

History

Cadena Radio Guadalajara, S.A., received the concession for XEWK on October 28, 1954, though six months earlier on April 27, provisional transmissions had been authorized. The concessionaire was changed in 1994.

In 2017, XEWK-AM was authorized for second-wave AM-FM migration on 101.5 MHz as XHWK-FM. The station signed on March 27, 2020.

gollark: So it works in about 30ms - perfectly okay - *without* the ts_headline, but takes about 30 seconds *with* it.

gollark: It looks like it somehow incurs a "bitmap heap scan" and "nested loop" but I have no clue why.
gollark: I don't understand why including `ts_headline(pageText, query, 'MaxFragments=3,MaxWords=60')` suddenly makes Postgres decide to operate about 100 times slower on this.
