Valencia Marathon
The Valencia Marathon also known as Marathon Valencia Trinidad Alfonso EDP for sponsorship reasons, is an annual road running event over the marathon distance (42.195 km or 26.219 miles) that takes place in the city of Valencia. It is organised by the SD Correcaminos Valencia sports club, which also organises the annual Valencia Half Marathon.

The event was first held in 1981 as a popular race known as the Marató Popular de València. It is ranked Nº1 in the Spanish Road Races Ranking and holds since January 2016 the IAAF Gold Label. [1]
