"Un Dia (One Day)" is a song by Colombian singer J Balvin, English singer Dua Lipa, Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny and Puerto Rican producer Tainy. It was released through Universal Records on July 23, 2020.[2]

Background and release

In May 2020, a 9-second clip of a song titled "One Day" by Lipa, Balvin and Bad Bunny leaked online.[3] The clip contained a reggaeton beat and Lipa's vocals.[4] The song was rumored to be released in June of that year.[5] In June, Balvin, Lipa, Bad Bunny and Tainy registered a song titled "Plateado" to American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP).[6] On July 21, 2020, the singers announced that their collaboration would be titled "One Day (Un Dia)". The song premiered on July 23, 2020, at 20:00 ET (00:00 UTC on July 24).[7]

"Un Dia (One Day)" is a house, pop and reggaeton song,[8][9][10][11] with dream pop melodies and dancehall flairs.[12] Lyrically, the song has themes of nostalgia and longing emotions.[13][14]

The music video for "Un Dia (One Day)" is directed by Stillz, produced by Neon16, and stars Úrsula Corberó.[15][16]
