Tirana District

Tirana District (Albanian: Rrethi i Tiranës) was one of the thirty-six districts of Albania (which were dissolved in 2000) that is now part of Tirana County. It had a total surface area of 1,238 km², and a projected 2013 population of 888,949 inhabitants.
