Mallakastër District
Mallakastër District (Albanian: Rrethi i Mallakastrës) was one of the thirty-six districts of Albania (which were dissolved in 2000) and is now part of Fier County. It had a population of 31,356[1] (2010 estimate), and an area of 393 km². It is in the south of the country, and its capital was Ballsh.
