Berat District
Berat District (Albanian: Rrethi i Beratit) was one of the thirty-six districts of Albania, which is now part of Berat County. It had a population of 117,066[2] (2010 estimate), and an area of 939 km². It is in the centre of the country, and its capital was Berat. Another large population centre in this district was Ura Vajgurore.

This is also the birthplace of Sejfi Protopapa, a Balli Kombëtar leader.
