Lushnjë District

Lushnjë District (Albanian: Rrethi i Lushnjës) was one of the thirty-six districts of Albania (which were dissolved in 2000) that is now part of Fier County. It had a population of 143,276[1] (2010 estimate), and an area of 712 km². It is in the west of the country and 80 km south of Tirana, and its capital was Lushnjë.
