Talentless Nana

Talentless Nana (Japanese: 無能なナナ, Hepburn: Munō na Nana) is a Japanese manga series, written by Looseboy and illustrated by Iori Furuya. It has been serialized in Square Enix's shōnen manga magazine Monthly Shōnen Gangan since May 2016 and has been collected in five tankōbon volumes. The manga is published digitally in North America by Crunchyroll.[1] An anime television series adaptation by Bridge will premiere in October 2020.

Plot

In the near future, children with supernatural powers start appearing and to prepare them in upcoming battle against the "Enemies of Humanity", they are sent to a preparation school located in a far away island. One day, a new student called Nana Hiiragi arrives at the school and soon becomes close to the other students. Little the students know the true nature of the Enemies of Humanity and Nana's true reason for joining the school.

Anime

An anime television series adaptation was announced on April 7, 2020.[4] The series is animated by Bridge and directed by Shinji Ishihira, with Fumihiko Shimo handling series composition, Satohiko Sano designing the characters, and Yasuharu Takanashi composing the music at Nippon Columbia.[5][2] The opening theme song, "Broken Sky", is performed by Miyu Tomita and the ending theme song, "Bakemono to Yobarete" (Known as a Monster), is performed by Chiai Fujikawa.[2] The series will premiere in October 2020.[2]
