Takahagi Station (高萩駅, Takahagi-eki) is a railway station on the Joban Line in Takahagi, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).

Overview
It is a representative station of Takahagi city and located on the east side of the city center. It is the nearest station to Hananuki Dam , Hananuki Valley , and Akahama Beach .

Takahagi Station is served by the Jōban Line, and is located 162.5 km from the official starting point of the line at Nippori Station in Tokyo.
Station layout

Takahagi Station has one island platform connected to the station building by a footbridge. The station has a Midori no Madoguchi staffed ticket office.
History
The station opened on 25 February 1897. The current station building was completed in April 1924. The station was absorbed into the JR East network upon the privatization of the Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987. A new station building was completed in March 2014.
Transportation characteristics at this station
- This station is the base station for the upbound Hitachi and Mito areas, and there are many regular and limited express trains departing from the station-Mito area. However, no trains are set for the first train bound for Iwaki.

- Going down ( Isohara , Iwaki , Tomioka & Haranomachi )
- During the day, ordinary trains north of this station run about 1 hour per hour.
- Limited express train
- During the day, one express train "Hitachi" and a stop train "Tokiwa"stop every two hours. When the limited express train does not stop, regular trains can be used to transfer at Hitachi Station, which is 3 stops away, or at Katsuta Station, which is 8 stops away ( the limited express train departing from the station ).
