History

Rockport was issued a post office in 1873. The post office was discontinued in 1905.[2] There is nothing left of Rockport.

gollark: Broadly speaking, to the best of my knowledge: TVs accept commands from remotes as modulated infrared somehow. The basic modulation stuff is fairly consistent, but not all TVs support the same set of commands. So universal remote things can work by recording the data another remote sends when you press a particular button, saving it, and replaying it when you press a button on it.
