Qujiang New District
Qujiang New District (Chinese: 曲江新区; pinyin: Qǔjiāng xīnqū) is a district in Xi'an city, Shaanxi province, China.[1]
History
The district was first created as a tourism district called Xi’an Qujiang Resort in 1993.[1][2] The site originally had an area of 15.88 square kilometres. It has been expanded to 47 square kilometres.[3] The resort became Qujiang New District ten years after its establishment.[1] It is now an economic centre with arts, luxury shopping, tourism and 5-star hotels (e.g. Westin, W Hotels in Xi'an).[1]
The district is home to a large number of tourism attractions and top businesses. It is also the most expensive area for residential properties in Xi'an.

gollark: It needs to be highly efficient so there are spare resources for its built-in HTTP server.
gollark: Which reminds me, is there some "epoll" equivalent allowing stuff to wait on process termination? Right now it runs a thread for each one, which is bad.
gollark: Yes, praise osmarksßsystemd™.
gollark: ALL are to use osmarksßsystemd™, which is written in Rust, uses TOML for unit files, and is eventually to use SQLite for something or other.
gollark: (it can't actually switch users either; this is a minor detail)
