A Tughlakabad / Ludhiana Diesel Loco Shed based WDP 4D locomotive hauls the train from Ajmer Junction till Old Delhi after which a Ghaziabad Electric Loco Shed based WAP 7 locomotive hauls the train for the remainder of its journey untill Jammu Tawi.
