Demographics
As of the 2006 India census,[3] Muradnagar had a population of 100,080. Males constituted 53% of the population and females 47%. Muradnagar had an average literacy rate of 70%, greater than the national average of 60.5%: male literacy was 71%, and female literacy 55%. 15% of the population was under 6 years of age.
Islam is the majority religion in the town of Muradnagar followed by 50.04% of its people, followed by Hindusim with 49.35%. Sikhs, Christians and other religions are the minority religion in the town.
