Mavrovo and Rostuša Municipality

Mavrovo and Rostuša (Macedonian: Маврово и Ростушa ) (Turkish: Mavrova ve Rostuşa) is a municipality in western North Macedonia. The municipal seat is located in the village of Rostuša. This municipality is part of the Polog Statistical Region.

Geography

The municipality borders Gostivar Municipality to the north, Kičevo Municipality to the east, Debar Municipality to the south and Albania to the west.

Demographics

According to the last national census from 2002, this municipality has 8,618 inhabitants.[1] Ethnic groups in the municipality include:

  • Macedonians = 4,349 (50.5%)
  • Turks = 2,680 (31.1%)
  • Albanians = 1,483 (17.2%)
  • others.

gollark: Privacy *is* to some extent a direct goal for people, since you probably wouldn't want to, I don't know, use a toilet with glass walls in the middle of a public square.
gollark: Partly, but you can also just not give them the data. It's easier than trying to stop price discrimination.
