Kids Baking Championship
Kids Baking Championship is a competitive reality baking program produced by Levity Entertainment Group for the Food Network. The competition involves children competing to make the best dish, and are judged on presentation, taste, and creativity. All seven seasons of the series have been hosted and judged by actress Valerie Bertinelli and baker Duff Goldman of Charm City Cakes. In 2018, the show enjoyed its highest ratings ever that also eclipsed Duff Goldman's earlier show, Ace of Cakes, as the highest rated series in the network's history.

The first season of the series featured several prizes for the winner of the competition, including $10,000, a full kitchen remodel for their parent's home, an article/recipe in Food Network Magazine, and their winning cake sold as a re-creation by Charm City Cakes, along with the 'Kids Baking Champion' title. That season had a pool of eight contestants. Subsequent seasons feature only the title and a prize of $25,000 for the winner, with the FNM article/recipe restored in season four, with the contestant pool rising to ten in season two, and twelve in subsequent seasons with season five and seven being an exception with nine people.
On July 8, 2019, it was announced that the seventh season would premiere on August 5, 2019.[1]

The 6 bakers are tasked to make a dessert imposter that looks savory but is actually sweet. The 6 choices were bagel (Hollis), sushi (Annika), pizza (Payton), taco (Cody), burger (Natalie), and spaghetti (Jackson). Duff and Valerie throw in the challenge of making the bakers incorporate a side kick to the original plan. The 4 bakers are challenged to make a celebration cake for the finale. The cake must be at least three layers. Valerie and Duff throw another twist and tell the kids they need to make a "party favor" and give the kids ideas. Annika make a dark chocolate cake with a raspberry cream coat and frosting. Jackson makes a lemon cake. Hollis makes a lemon cake. Natalie creates a lemon cake with cream cheese frosting. Jackson attempts to make macarons, but they crack. He then makes shortbread. Annika makes lemon bars. Hollis makes a sugar cookie. Natalie makes a cake-in-a-jar. The judges have two standouts; Annika and Hollis. For the final challenge, the bakers are given the task of creating cakes based on common "Spring Break" destinations: the beach (Rebecca), the amusement park (Matthew) and camping (Yahshimabet). The twist is that they must include a curd filling in their cake. Winner: Rebecca Winner's Dish: A lemon chiffon cake with a strawberry buttercream with lemon and strawberry curd, decorated to look like the beach.
