Kampong Kembangan Single Member Constituency
Kampong Kembangan Single Member Constituency (Traditional Chinese: 甘榜景万岸單選區; Simplified Chinese: 甘榜景万岸单选区) is a former single member constituency in Kembangan.
Formation and Dissolution
In the early days from the 1959, this ward was created for the Kampong Kembangan after the dissolution of Ulu Bedok ward. It was subsequently absorbed into Aljunied Group Representation Constituency along with Kampong Ubi ward in prior to 1988 elections which was helmed by George Yeo, and had HDB apartments in Kembangan (together with Kembangan MRT station and the ward was renamed to Aljunied-Kembangan on 2001. Changes was made again in prior to 2006 elections that merges this ward and Kampong Ubi ward but it is called Kampong Ubi-Kembangan, however, they were under Marine Parade GRC instead and merged Kampong Chai Chee portion of Kaki Bukit, thus forming Kembangan-Chai Chee.

Absorbed into Aljunied GRC in 1988. Presently a ward with Chai Chee, thus called Kembangan-Chai Chee.

Note 1: In 1957, Singapore Malay Union (SMU) was expelled by its alliance partners consisted of UMNO and MCA for fielding a candidate in that by-election which was the reason for the elections department of Singapore to view Fatimah as another independent candidate.
Note 2: UMNO, MCA and MIC together with Singapore People's Alliance was informally formed as an alliance in 1961, where it still within this term of election which was the reason for the elections department of Singapore to view Mohammed Ali as a candidate for Singapore Alliance.
