Historical names
The village was called Studenky, Studinky or Studynky.
History
The first note about the village comes from 1518, but the village is probably older because a note from 1531 refers to a parish church, and parish churches were situated in locally older settlements. It is speculated that original village's name was Odendorf and was later renamed for unknown reason.
