The municipality covers an area of 6.84 square kilometres (2.64 sq mi), and has a population of 190 (as at 2 October 2006).
Hořice lies approximately 19 kilometres (12 mi) north of Pelhřimov, 38 km (24 mi) north-west of Jihlava, and 77 km (48 mi) south-east of Prague.
