Guam at major beauty pageants

This is a list of Guam's official representatives and their placements at the Big Four international beauty pageants, considered the most important in the world.

Hundreds of beauty pageants are conducted yearly, but the Big Four are considered the most prestigious,[1] widely covered and broadcast by media.[2] The Wall Street Journal,[3] BBC News,[4] CNN,[5] Xinhua News Agency,[6] and global news agencies such as Reuters[7] and Agence France-Presse[8][9] collectively refer to the four major pageants as "Big Four" namely: Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International, and Miss Earth.[10][11][12]

The country has won one victory:

The Guamanian franchise holders of the four major beauty pageants are the following:

The criteria for the Big Four inclusion is based on specific standards such as the pageants global prominence and prestige approved by worldwide media, the quality and quantity of crowned delegates recognized by international franchisees and pageant aficionados, the winner's post pageant activities; the pageants longevity, consistency, and history; the pageant's specific purpose, relevance, and advocacy; the overall production quality and global telecast; the enormity of internet traffic; and the popularity amongst pageant fans across the globe.[21][22]

Guam's Big Four titleholders

Guam has been represented in the Big Four international beauty pageants, the four major international beauty pageants for women.[3][23] These are Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss International and Miss Earth.[24][25][26]

gollark: Convoluted methods to disassemble devices create extra risk and make it harder for regular people to repair.
gollark: I mean, phones having socketed CPUs would be weird. But they should at least have the easily-worn-down parts - screen glass, battery and USB-C port - on swappable boards.
gollark: It is not a technical limitation, in the majority of cases.
gollark: They SHOULD be.
gollark: And I think some highish-voltage screen power line running beside the screen's data lines, on some MacBooks too.
