Fleet

Intercampus and Lamont Shuttles

Originally, the fleet was operated exclusiveley with 2007 Nova Bus LFS TL40102A buses, Nos. 2114-2118. In 2018, Columbia bought six New Flyer Industries XE40 Xcelsior CHARGE buses, Nos. 2991-2996.[1][2][3][4] These buses are used on all Intercampus Lines, the Fort Lee Shuttle, and the Lamont Shuttle. After all six XE40s were delivered, Nos. 2114-2118 were relegated to backup service at Academy's Hoboken Garage, however No. 2117 was reactivated in July 2020 on the Lamont Shuttle when Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory lost power due to Hurricane Isaias.

Manhattanville Shuttle

The Manhattanville Shuttle was launched with a single 2017 Nova Bus LFS TL40102A bus, No. 2143, pulled from backup Academy service. This shuttle is temporarily suspended due to COVID-19

Bakers Field Shuttle

The Bakers Field Shuttle was launched with 5 2013-14 Van Hool C2045 buses, Nos. 6405-6410, pulled from Academy charter service. These buses are still in the Academy paint scheme. This shuttle is temporarily suspended due to COVID-19

Arbor Shuttle

When the Arbor Shuttle was launched, it used an unknown cutaway van, but in 2019, that was replaced by a 2019 Ford E-450 cutaway bus with a Goshen Coach Impulse body, No. 425. The Arbor Shuttle was originally operated by Columbia Facilities, but in 2018 it was contracted out to Luxury Transportation Corp. of Queens.[5]

Routes

Several routes operate within the network.[6] In 2020, a pilot program with shuttle service to Hoboken, New Jersey using the Manhattanville Shuttle buses was initiated. It stopped in April 2020, when the Manhattanville Shuttle stopped running due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.[7]

gollark: It's kind of fuzzily defined I think.
gollark: Dying is inconvenient for a number of reasons, so I recommend against it.
gollark: Maybe they've been infiltrated by the government and sold "9/11 dust" so they won't realize the truth, which they might if they harvested it themselves.
gollark: Exactly.
gollark: How can you tell it's *real* 9/11 dust?
