2019–20 MC Alger season

In the 2019–20 season, MC Alger is competing in the Ligue 1 for the 51st season, as well as the Algerian Cup. On March 15, 2020, the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) decided to halt the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Algeria.[6] On July 29, 2020, the LFP declared that season is over and CR Belouizdad to be the champion, the promotion of four teams from the League 2, and scraping the relegation for the current season.[7]

Notes

  1. The second leg fixture between MC Alger and Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, originally scheduled to be played on 24 November 2019, was postponed following issues concerning the travels of Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya due to security concerns from the 2019 Iraqi protests. The UAFA later announced that the match would take place on 16 December 2019.
gollark: Now to gather some xenowyrms and other cool dragons, breed them, and figure out how to somehow get recognition.
gollark: What, so create some arbitrary lineage and call it special?
gollark: But give them special codes or something so everyone knows they *must* be good.
gollark: Alternatively, create a list, and automatically give people on it cheatified nocturnes or some other useless dragon!
gollark: Just make a new set of cheatdragons called the "thowods" or something.
