GS Pétroliers (basketball)
Groupement Sportif des Pétroliers (Arabic: المجمع الرياضي البترولي; English: Sports Group of Oil Fields), also known as GSP, is the basketball team of the homonymous multi-sport club. The club is based in Algiers, Algeria. The team was founded on 7 August 1921 and plays its home games in the Salle Hacène Harcha, which has a capacity of 8,000 people. The team has won a record 20 Algerian national championships.[1]

History
The team was originally part of the Mouloudia Club d'Alger (MC Alger) club, but became a part of GS Pétroliers on 2 June 2008. Starting from the 1999–2000 season, the team has won numerous titles in Algeria.
On 30 November 2019, GSP qualified for the 2020 Basketball Africa League (BAL) by winning the West Division in the qualifying tournament.[2]
