1997 Anchorage mayoral election
The 1997 Anchorage mayoral election was held on April 15, 1997 to elect the mayor of Anchorage, Alaska. It saw reelection of Rick Mystrom.

gollark: It's just such a *government* solution to something which isn't very problematic. Some people wanted to wake up at different times or whatever, so instead of shifting working hours or something they decided to meddle with the fabric of time.
