1926 East Tennessee State Teachers football team

The 1926 East Tennessee State Teacher's College Teachers football team was an American football team that represented East Tennessee State University (ETSU) in the 1926 NCAA football season. It was the seventh season of East Tennessee State (Then known as East Tennessee State Teacher's College) football. They were led by second-year coach John Robinson, a World War I veteran and a UT graduate, who also taught agriculture and coached the other male sports squads. He was referred to affectionately as "Robbie" and was so popular that later the 1929 yearbook was dedicated to him. Robinson gained a new assistant coach in William "Willie" Flinn Rogers, who taught history and government at the school from 1925 to 1968. The 1926 season was mostly mediocre, as the Teachers finished with two wins, four losses, and a scoreless tie with Mars Hill.[1]

gollark: There's no inter-investor competition in the old system.
gollark: That would still not be very good.
gollark: Not only is detecting use of a template probably not easy, but you would need to check *every template* against *every meme* posted on Reddit, which would be *hard*.
gollark: The old system was not very good.
gollark: Well, it might be possible, just very hard.
