1848 French Constituent Assembly election

The 1848 general election held on 23 and 24 April 1848 elected the Constituent Assembly of the new Republic. Over 9 million voters were eligible to vote in the first French election since 1792 held under male universal suffrage.[1]

gollark: I think Firefox includes tracking protection stuff, and there are definitely addons for it, so meh.
gollark: Firefox is open source, so you can see they're not doing anything massively evil. But they also do rely on Google paying them to make Google the default search engine, which is not ideal.
gollark: It's going to be easier for Google to gather data from you in *their browser* than Firefox.
