Marl Mankroyd was High Leaguesmaster before Ruptus Pentephraxis. During the events of Cloud Wolf, Marl Mankroyd ran a cargo of fake gems and coins, as well as real black diamonds, aboard his sky ship, the Great Sky Whale[2]. He was defeated by Wind Jackal and Quint when the sky pirates attacked—and once his slaves were freed—was killed when his ship hurtled into Open Sky[3].
