Bloodwaifs

Bloodwaifs were a rare variety of waif found in the Nightwoods. Like all waifs, they possessed the ability to communicate silently via telepathy. Similarly to barkwaifs, flitterwaifs and leechwaifs, they roamed wild in the Nightwoods, preying on unwary travellers on the Waif Trail[1]. Some bloodwaifs, however, settled in the city of Riverrise during the Third Age of Flight[2].
