Barkwaifs

Barkwaifs were a rare variety of waif found in the Nightwoods. Like all waifs, they possessed the ability to communicate silently via telepathy. Similarly to bloodwaifs, flitterwaifs, Nightwaifs and leechwaifs, they were uncivilised and roamed wild in the Nightwoods.[1]
